Quick description: analyze the working life span of the moving parts inside our engines

Describe your work – what you do on a daily basis…
Wake up in the morning. “Drag myself out of bed.” Cat wakes up, too. Eat breakfast have tea. Go to work. Try to understand how an engine works and how to determine the life of engine parts. Don’t let them get to the point where they break.

What do you like to do outside work?
Yoga

How/When did you know you’d be a (scientist) someday?
Saw a sign at school that said “Why not a career in chemistry?” and thought, “why not?”

What was your favorite subject in school?
Chemistry

What advice do you have for teen girls today?
Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it; and don’t tell yourself you can’t do it. There will definitely be aspects of [engineering] that you will like more and like less. And there will be aspects that will be hard and that will push you to a limit that you think you can’t surpass. But if you like it; if you know that it’s something you want to pursue, don’t let anything get in your way.
